Program Description

Central Focus Psychological Group (CFPG) is a multidisciplinary private outpatient clinic located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our training program emphasizes the development of advanced clinical competencies in psychological and neuropsychological assessment, diagnostic formulation, and evidence-based intervention. Interns receive extensive training in administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide range of cognitive, academic, emotional, and neurodevelopmental assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.

Interns are integrated into a collaborative and supportive team that includes licensed psychologists, psychometrists, and practicum students. Supervision is provided weekly in both individual and group formats, with additional opportunities for didactic seminars, case conferences, and professional development. The training experience at CFPG is particularly well-suited for students interested in autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, trauma-related disorders, and mood and anxiety concerns.

Our goal is to foster competent, ethical, and confident clinicians who are prepared to succeed in a variety of professional settings, including private practice, hospitals, schools, and interdisciplinary teams. Interns are viewed as emerging professionals, and we strive to provide a flexible, high-quality training experience tailored to individual strengths, goals, and areas for growth.
