Brief description of the typical work day for an intern at this training site At least Forty Five (45) percent of the intern’s time (approximately 18 hours per week) is spent providing direct services to patients. Services may include but are not limited to intake evaluations, individual and family psychotherapy, facilitation of treatment groups and psychological assessment. The remaining hours are spent in the following activities: The following times are mandatory for Interns to participate in. All meetings are hybrid (both in person and Zoom). If for any reason they are unable to attend, they need to contact the Program Manager prior to the meetings as attendance is required. Seminar (September-May) o Wednesdays: 10am-11:30am Seminar (June-August) o Wednesdays: 10am-12pm Didactics (September-May) o Thursdays: 10am-11am Staff Meeting and Case Disposition o Thursdays: 12pm-2pm Group Supervision o Fridays: 9am-11am Therapy to individuals, couples, and families o Approximately 18hrs (45% of a 40hr work week) of the scheduled time in the clinic will be dedicated to Clinical face to face interactions with patients. This means that overall interns can expect to see between 4-5 patients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays; and 2-3 patients on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Individual Supervision o 2hrs of supervision will be scheduled weekly with the individual supervisor (1hr with the primary supervisor and 1hr with the secondary supervisor)

La Concordia also is partially affiliated with Pacifica University as the intern we currently have is from their PhD program.
