Each of our sites is considered a separate application. Applicants will find the following four application options within AAPI:

  • Connecticut Psychology Consortium – Aspire Living & Learning

  • Connecticut Psychology Consortium – CREC

  • Connecticut Psychology Consortium – Darien

  • Connecticut Psychology Consortium - EASTCONN

You can apply to as many or as few of these opportunities as you choose, and applicants are encouraged to apply to any site of interest. The following information is required:

  • Cover letter specifying the site(s) being applied to and why the intern is a good fit for each

  • APPIC AAPI as designated on the online application

  • Three standardized reference forms (SRFs)

  • One psychological evaluation report writing sample submitted as supplemental material.

  • One treatment/case summary to be submitted as supplemental material.

Eligible applications are reviewed and ranked by a combination of CPC staff and individual site directors. A select group of applicants are invited for interview. Notification of invitation to interview will be made by December 15, 2024.

Interviews will be conducted separately by site in a virtual format. Applicants who are invited to interview will coordinate with each agency to schedule separate interviews based on site and applicant availability. Interviews will be scheduled between 45-60 minutes depending on the site, and may include group activities, individual interviews, case conceptualization, presentation task, etc. Other interview experiences may apply.

The CPC Training Director will create an CPC overview presentation which will be emailed to all applicants completing interviews during the week of 12/15/2024. An optional, open Q&A session with the Training Director, and an optional, open Q&A with current interns, will be held in January 2025.
