Program Description

Genesis Counseling Center is a private outpatient clinic in Hampton, Virginia. We are located about an hour from Richmond, Virginia, and three hours from Washington, DC.  We serve a diverse community in the Hampton Roads area, and there are opportunities to work with children, adolescents, adults, and marriage/family counseling.  The internship has a heavy focus on assessment, outpatient psychotherapy, and group therapy. Our site also has an emphasis on supervision, with opportunities to assist in supervising practicum students. Additional information about our site can be found at Genesis Counseling Center.com
