Interviews will be conducted in mid and late January. Selected applicants will receive notification via email and will be offered particular dates for interviewing.  Interviews will be conducted virtually given the COVID19 situation.  The content for the virtual interviews will include the program description, tour of facilities, and general question and answer sessions.  Applicants will also participate in individual interviews with one or more program staff.

Program Description

The program offers training in Clinical and Counseling Psychology using a Practitioner Model. Interns complete three major rotations, one of which is a mandatory rotation in Inpatient/Outpatient Mental Health. Other major rotation selections include Health Psychology, Addiction Disorders Services, Neuropsychology, Geriatric Extended Care, and outpatient PTSD Clinical Team. Dependent on the major rotation selected, interns may also choose a minor rotation in the areas of Geropsychology/Extended Care, Health Psychology, Addiction Disorders Services, and PTSD. Areas of emphases that transcend the training year can be chosen in the areas of Psychopharmacology and Geropsychology.

Faculty are diverse in their clinical experience and theoretical orientations. Represented approaches include Cognitive Behavioral, Existential, Integrative and many faculty are trained in a variety of Evidence Based Treatments.
