Brief description of the typical work day for an intern at this training site In the "post-pandemic" world, interns will spend two and a half days a week on intensive hospital-based rotations (inpatient psychiatry, consultation/liaison psychiatry, or neuropsychology). Afternoons are spent at the Outpatient Center for Mental Health working with patients across the lifespan in a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities, time will be split between on-site and remote outpatient work.

Interview process description:

We interview a small number of highly qualified candidates.  Applicants are notified of their status via e-mail and will be given a choice of several dates for interviews.  All selected candidates will participate in a half-day process that includes a group information session, an opportunity to meet informally with current interns, and two individual interviews (one with the Training Director and one with a member of our training committee).  The program will evaluate safety and practicality of on-site interviews as we get closer to the application due date.
