Program Description

Our program is designed to provide a thorough professional training experience within an active service-oriented agency. While interns are involved in a broad variety of clinical activities, the foundation of our program is a genuine commitment to intensive supervision and furthering the intern's personal and professional growth.  We emphasize a relational therapeutic perspective, foster trauma-sensitive and an interculturally effective approach to therapy, develop skills in outreach / education, and collaborate with a range of professionals to support the mental health and wellbeing of our student clients and unviersity community.  As a staff, we try to model solid professional practice, while demonstrating a sincere commitment to each intern's development. Special attention is paid to an intern's individual needs and preferences, and meeting each person at their growing edges as they transition into this professional role.
