Brief description of the typical work day for an intern at this training site As JCIC is a consortium, a typical work day depends on the different rotations. The interns weekly schedule is designed to maximize learning opportunities. Each week, interns spend 4 days in clinical placements (including both core and elective rotations) and one day a week (Wednesday) in didactic training, seminars, multi-discplinary treatment teams, and group supervision.

Program Description

This is a Consortium that includes a community mental health setting (child, family, and adult treatment modalities), an adult psychiatric hospital, and a forensic unit. Interns are assigned placements based on their interest and areas of growth.
