Interview process description:

Candidates will be emailed and provided instructions for scheduling an individual video interview to occur between January 4-7, 2021. The interview time is scheduled for 1 hour and is comprised of a 40 minute interview with a small group of staff and 15 minutes question period with an intern. Afterward, you will have the opportunity for a 15 minute one on one conversation with the training director and internship coordinator.

Program Description

The aim of the University of South Florida Counseling Center (USFCC) Doctoral Internship is to provide one year of experiential training in a collegiate mental health center in order to prepare interns to work competently as health service psychologists in a variety of professional settings serving diverse populations. Interns engage in intakes, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, consultation and outreach services, and provision of supervision.
