Interview process description:

****PLEASE NOTE, THE ABOVE INTERVIEW DATE IS ONLY THE FIRST OF FOUR INTERVIEW DATES WE WILL SCHEDULE.  OUR TENTATIVE INTERVIEW DATES ARE DURING THE FIRST THREE WEEKS OF JANUARY 2022.    

We will continue to assess interview possibilities as the pandemic recovery progresses.  We are hoping to offer both in person and virtual interviews this year.  We will be interviewing on 1/7/2022, 1/10/2022, 1/13/2022 and 1/20/2022.  If required, we will add a fifth interview date of 1/14/2022.  Two days will be dedicated to in person interviews and two dates will be dedicated to virtual interviews, but modifications may occur based on applications.  If a fifth day is necessary, it will be the modality that is most requested. 

Our interviews will last approximatly three hours with additional time for other activities in the schedule.    Our schedule includes a presentation from rotation supervisors, opportunities to meet and talk with our current interns, individual interviews, and opportunities for discussion with the Psychology Training Leadership and Psychology Service Leadership.  

To be considered, applicants must demonstrate completion of at least three years of graduate course work and a minimum of 520 direct contact hours (combined assessment and intervention hours) and 5 completed integrated psychological assessments. Applicants must be certified as ready for internship by their Director of Clinical Training.

We provide an emphasis in diversity throughout the training year.  As a part of our diversity training, we provide individual and group supervision, didactics, and diversity journal discussions to help trainees develop increased competence in blending a diversity focus in their clinical work.  The intern cohort also creates and presents a group presentation on diversity/multi-culturalism.
