Program Description

Providence Health System and George Fox University comprise the Integrated Care Internship consortium program. The consortium provides training as a Behavioral Health Provider within a medical clinic. Interns will assess and treat a wide range of psychological problems, including mood and anxiety disorders, co-occurring disorders, trauma, addiction/substance use disorder, medical disorders, and other behavioral health conditions.

Training Available: The aim of the internship is to equip interns to be generalist clinicians with competence in behavioral health integration, which will be developed during the interns' training in primary care psychology. While the program prefers a minimum of 400 intervention hours, applicants with extenuating circumstances may be considered. Trainees with primary care or interprofessional medical care are highly preferred.
