An onsite interview is: Required
Interview notification date: 12/15/2018
Interview notification date time zone: Eastern Standard Time
Tentative interview date: 01/06/2020
Interview process description:

To be considered for the internship, your online application must be completed by November 1st, 2019. We leave our AAPI online portal open and available for submissions until 11:59 P.M. (Eastern Standard Time) on the day of our published deadline. Due to the volume of applicants, we are unable to interview every student who applies to our internship.

Our program code number is 119311.  In addition to the required materials indicated in the APPIC online application, we require a deidentified, adult psychological assessment that must include personality and cognitive components. We require no more than three letters of recommendation.  Please note clearly in your cover letter whether you intend to specialize in neuropsychology.  While our training model is generalist, we offer neuropsychology training which meets all requirements such that applicants can be considered for a neuropsychological postdoctoral fellowship.  To be eligible for an internship you must be: a) enrolled as a student in an APA or CPA-approved clinical or counseling doctoral program and b) a citizen of the United States or Canada by the first day of the internship.

An onsite interview is required for acceptance into the internship. All applicants will be notified by December 15 whether or not they have been selected for an interview. Please do not call us to ask whether you have been selected for an interview. We do not conduct telephone interviews. When interviews are scheduled, they are conducted individually, not in groups. Staff members from each of the available rotations will be available to answer your questions. We will also give you the opportunity to ask questions of a current intern. Interviews this year will be conducted on January 6, 7, 9 and 10, 2020.
