Interview process description:

Our interview process is atypical and a bit complex. Please see information under "From the Training Director" on our site at http://medicine.hsc.wvu.edu/charleston/departments/behavioral-medicine-psychiatry/clinical-psychology-internship/ and feel free to contact the training director with any additional questions. We have limited visit slots available but visits are not required.  Candidates must contact the program to request a visit and the faculty will consider that request in concert with determining the goodness of fit between an applicant and the program.  Interns can be matched to our program without visiting, but if considering our setting please contact the training director or faculty in your area of focus to express your interest in our site and allow us to get to know you. Applicants will only be informed if their application is no longer being considered. Please note that we require intern applicants to possess a masters degree in psychology, and the word "psychology" must be included on the masters transcript. Otherwise under WV law an intern must have a faculty member present for all professional interactions; with a masters degree in psychology the intern can function without such intense oversight. Non-US citizens can be considered on a case by case basis depending upon their visa status.

How to obtain application info: Visit Website
Preferred method of contacting the program: Email the Program
