For over 40 years, Citrus Health Network, Inc. has been meeting the diverse needs of persons with mental illness, including: children, adolescents, adults and families through accredited programs and services. We offer a full range of treatment modalities including inpatient, residential and outpatient services, which are based on the most currently accepted research-validated practices and are provided by an exceptional group of professionals from various disciplines. Our staff is highly trained and committed to serving and empowering persons with mental illness and restoring them to their homes and families with an improved quality of life.  As of 2004, Citrus Health Network became a Federally Qualified Health Center.  This added an array of medical services to our already expansive mental health programs.  As a result, interns and residents alike, experience a diversity of diagnosis and treatment options in both mental and physical health as well as the ability to work collaborately with multiple disciplines throughout their placement.  Citrus Health Network is affiliated with Florida International University as a training site for psychiatry students, including residents and fellows.  The interns have an opportunity to attend educational grand rounds and Quality Improvment rounds with psychiatry learners and are part of a multi-disciplinary team.
