Accreditation Status
The University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Clinical Neuropsychology Residency and Clinical Psychology Residency are fully accredited by the American Psychological Association Commission on Accreditation. The programs are fully accredited through 2033.

 

Neuropsychology Residency

Interview Process Description 
The interview process will be conducted via remote conferencing using the Zoom Meeting Platform. Interviews will include a group Program Overview with the Program Director followed by individual interviews with faculty. There will also be group meetings with current trainees (Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Residents) which are not evaluative, but provide an opportunity for applicants to ask questions of current trainees about the OKC area and their training experiences. Interviews will conclude with a group Q & A session with the Program Director. Limited on-site tours of the HSC campus can be arranged depending on availability of staff to perform them.

We will be interviewing for 1 Adult Neuropsychology emphasis position. We participate in the APPCN/NMS match and applicants will be notified of match status through NMS.

 

Clinical Psychology Residency 

Interview Process Description 
The interview process will be conducted via remote conferencing. If video conferencing is not feasible, telephone interviews are acceptable. Interviews will include a group Program Overview with the Program Director on select dates (see program website for more information). Additionally, candidates will interview with faculty from the emphasis area they applied to. There will be group meetings with current trainees (Clinical Postdoctoral Residents), which are not evaluative but provide an opportunity for applicants to ask questions of current trainees about the OKC area and their training experiences. Limited on-site tours of the health campus will be available depending on availability of staff to perform them.

We will be interviewing for 4 resident positions across our three emphasis sites of Child Psychology, and Pediatric Psychology. All Interviews will take place prior to Jan. 15, 2027. Our program does not currently adhere to the APPIC Common Hold Date. Offers may be made upon completing interviews and ranking all applicants for an emphasis position.

Applications will be accepted through the Liaison Outcomes System (APPA) for both programs.

 

Applications for the Clnical Psychology Residency will be reviewed as early as Dec. 7, 2026. The Clinical Psychology Program does not currently adhere to the Common Hold Date. Offers could be made as early as 1/15/27.

Applications for the Neuropsychology Residency will be reviewed after December 18th. This program participates in the NMS Match. 

We have 2 separate APA Accredited training programs, which together typically have a total of 6 Postdoc Fellows. 

 

CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGY-1 position
