Brief description of the typical work day for an intern at this training site 8 hour day (8 AM to 4 PM or 8:30 AM to 4:30). A mixture of assessment, intervention, case consultation, interdisciplinary meetings, administrative tasks, research/program evaluation, and individual supervision time.

Interview process description:

All interviews will be by videoconference in 2023 between December 10 and 21, 2023.  We offer a?pproximately one hour ?-?l?o?n?g? interview with three faculty members, followed by a 30 minute virtual tour with the Director of training.  Virtual meeting with current interns is also scheduled.  Applicants are welcome to contact other faculty members and current interns by email for more information.

Program Description

We are a generalist focused internship. One spot is for Adult-focused trainees and one is for Child/Lifespan-focused trainees.  Applicants can apply to one or both options. We offer three rotations (2 six month concentrated rotations and one 12 month long extended rotation), with possible involvement in inpatient and outpatient mental health, health, rehab, neuropsychology, and OSI. Interns also have weekly didactic training, supervision-of-supervision opportunities, and involvement in clinical research/program evaluation.
