Program Description

Interns work with a diverse group of patient populations. Our objective is to bring together culturally diverse trainees from different institutions and with different training backgrounds to enhance personal interchange and professional stimulation. We train interns only in those clinical settings where our full-time or adjunct faculty are actively involved. The majority of our intern graduates subsequently complete a postdoctoral fellowship.

Our program offers two tracks: Adult Psychology and Child Psychology. In the Adult Track, the concentration is Forensic Psychology. Within the Child track, the concentrations are Pediatric Psychology or Infant Mental Health. Applicants should apply to either the Adult or Child track. If applying for the Child Track, they should specify an interest in being considered for either or both major areas of study within the Child Track, and they should state a preference. These preferences will be used for arranging interviews only and for no other purpose.

Two Tracks are offered currently:I. Adult Track Focus: Forensic Psychology - 1 position available in 2024-2025 APPIC Match Number: 131711  II. Child Track Focus: Pediatric Psychology - 1 position available in 2024-2025 APPIC Match Number: 131712; Infant Mental Health - 2 positions available in 2024-2025 APPIC Match Number: 131714
