The Utah Psychology Internship Consortium (UT-PIC; https://ut-pic.org/ ) pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology is seeking qualified applicants for the upcoming internship year. UT-PIC is comprised of four agencies organized to provide a broad, high-quality and culturally-relevant training program to support the preparation and retention of doctoral level psychologists in Utah. We offer an annual internship stipend of $38,000 plus benefits.
Utah Tech University Booth Wellness Center, and Intermountain Psychiatry and Counseling - St. George and are in beautiful St. George, UT, located near Zion National Park, and less than two hours away from Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and Brian Head ski resort. There are numerous hiking and biking trails in the scenic red rocks of southern Utah. The Utah Tech University site is a college counseling center and focuses primarily on brief therapy with young adults. Intermountan Psychiatry and Counseling - St. George provides individual and group therapy as well as assessment services. Alternatively, Valley Behavioral Health in Salt Lake City and Tooele, UT provides a mix of urban and rural experiences, with access to Salt Lake City’s cultural scene along with Utah’s outdoor recreation opportunities. Valley Behavioral Health offers a balance of therapy and assessment with combination of child, adolescent, family, and adult experiences. Solstice Counseling & Wellness is located in a Heber City, a picturesque mountain valley about 50 minutes southeast of Salt Lake City, which is minutes away from world class skiing, fly fishing, golfing, mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. The intern will receive in-depth training in psychotherapy and assessment as well as acquire the fundamentals on running a private practice. Intermountain Psychiatry and Counseling - Park City is neslted in the heart of the Wasatch mountans and offers a world renowned destination for outdoor recreation, stunning scenery and mountain town charm. It is a convenient 35 minutes from Salt Lake City airport. This small outpatient clinic serves adolescents and adults for therapy and assessment services.
UT-PIC’s first intern class began in August of 2019. We are fully accredited with an initial accreditation date of April 2020. Valley Behavioral Health will not be accepting an intern for the next Match cycle.
