Interview process description:

The UTPPIC will be offering virtual interviews.  There will be five interview dates during the month of January. Interview days will include group and individual formats, and applicants will meet with at least three supervisors on their interview day. We cannot guarantee that an applicant will have the opportunity to meet with all of the supervisors they would like to.

Individual interviews on non-interview days may be possible but will place the applicant at a disadvantage to those who participate in the full interview dates.

Program Description

The UTPPIC consists of a number of cooperating agencies which offer a wide variety of training experiences. The program is administered through the Dept. of Psychiatry at the UTHSC. Interns complete three 4-month rotations, each with a 24 hr./week major rotation and a 12 hr./week minor rotation plus seminars. Each intern's program is individually designed to meet his/her training needs. The program follows a scholar-practitioner model with a focus on clinical training that is supported by the current psychological literature.
