These skills include assessment, diagnosis, individual and group psychotherapeutic skills, consultation, and assumption of a professional role. All training rotations provide ample opportunity for direct clinical experience. All supervisors provide individualized evaluation and feedback on clinical skills and the intern's professional growth as it occurs within a clinical setting.
Rotations include: Outpatient Mental Health Clinic/Trauma (required), Outpatient Geropsychology, Severe/Persistant Mental Illness (inpatient and outpatient), Co-Occuring Disorders (residential and outpatient), Geropsychology and Rehabilitation, Pain Management, Palliative Care/Hospice and the MH Consult Team.
