Interview process description:

Interviews will take place between January 24 and February 2, 2019.  

After an initial round of applicatation review, applicants will be selected and invited for in-person interviews.  Applicants will be notified by Monday, December 10, 2018 if they are being invited, and will be able to request their preferred interview date.  We will hold open houses on Friday, January 25, 2019.  Applicants are encouraged to attend an open house if invited. Applicants who attend an open house will be offered an interview on their selected day.

Program Description

The TCSPPCC doctoral internship provides intensive supervision, hands-on direct clinical service, and didactic training, moving interns towards entry-level, post-graduate professional psychology practice. Interns at TCSPP Counseling Center at West Los Angeles have the opportunity to provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy; psychological assessment and report writing; consultation; community outreach; peer supervision and mentoring. The internship program strives to balance autonomy, structure, and level of suport to interns' developmental level, adjusting throughout the year as the interns gain experience and clinical sophistication.
