Program Description

El Camino Hospital, "The Hospital of Silicon Valley,” is a private, non-profit community hospital located in Mountain View, California, with behavioral health services that include a 21-bed psychiatric inpatient program, and multiple outpatient programs.  Our psychology internship program offers training and supervision in a sequential clinical rotation schedule during which psychology interns provide care to higher-acuity patients receiving treatment in inpatient and outpatient PHP/IOP programs.  The training is experiential in nature and supported by the interdisciplinary staff that comprise the treatment teams of each program, thereby fostering interns’ growth in interprofessional collaboration as well as training in profession-wide competencies.  For more information about El Camino Hospital, please visit the hospital's website at www.elcaminohospital.org
