Program Description

CONNECTED PSYCHOLOGY is the cure for the common internship.

At CONNECTED PSYCHOLOGY we train you to work with the most in need and get results through a state of the art developmental intervention model that is trans-theoretical and universal across age, ethnicity, culture, geography and socio-economic status.

We use the best of Western and Eastern Psychology synthesized to bring about change.

We focus on meeting people where they are, individualizing our interventions and establishing the relationship that will have the best outcomes.

When you know how people psychologically develop and can intervene in support of that development, the changes are observable and measurable.  Therapy moves from the theoretical to the observable.  This brings about confidence through competence.

As we are All Beings in Development,

You will learn the fundamentals of developmentally based psychotherapy, be able to apply those principles and not only get results with your clients but also learn about your own development in the process.

Our trainees:

  • Provide a range of therapeutic services to children and adolescents in community and school based settings.
  • Support other professional through building supportive relationships in the service of mutual clients
  • Have opportunities throughout the year for psychological assessments and IEP advocacy.
  • Play a meaningful role on a team serving children and their families.
  • Learn to work in conjunction with other professionals in community settings.
  • Develop self-awareness

We do not require that applicants have previous experience working with children.  We’re most interested in candidates who have a desire to work with the most in need and are willing to learn.
