Brief description of the typical work day for an intern at this training site SARHC is planning to accept two interns for the 2019-20 internship year, pending final approval of funding. This approval will be finalized prior to our application deadline: December 3, 2018. Potential applicants are encouraged to contact Dr. Sylvester via email should they have questions or concerns. SARHC interns are expected to arrive at the clinic at 8:00 AM and leave at 5:00 PM. Early mornings and late evening hours are discouraged and typically unnecessary. Supervisors are available at scheduled times and an 'open door' policy is in place.

Interview process description:

Interviews are offered on Wednesdays and tentatively scheduled for 12/19/18, 12/26/2019, 1/2/2019, & 1/9/2019. Interviews begin at 8:00 AM at SARHC and conclude at approximately 1:00 PM. Applicants will be provided breakfast (donuts and coffee) and lunch (off-site in El Dorado). One or two supervisors will accompany applicants to lunch to informally address any questions or other issues applicants wish to discuss. Applicants should expect three individual interviews as well as a group interview. Applicants will be notified of invitation to interview via email no later than 12/9/2017. All interviews are in person. SARHC does not offer phone or Skype interviews. Please email Dr. Sylvester with any questions or concerns.
