Brief description of the typical work day for an intern at this training site Interns carry a psychotherapy caseload of up to 10 outpatients, 3 inpatient therapy cases and can expect to work with a combination of adults, children and adolescents. Each day typically involves both outpatient and inpatient work, and includes group and individual psychotherapy, family/couples therapy, intake assessments, psychological and/or neuropsychological assessment and consultation.

Program Description

Our internship emphasizes training in the treatment of personality disorders, and severely and persistently mentally ill patients, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Integrative orientation; emphasis on psychodynamic approach. Interns will have the opportunity to work with patients across the lifespan.
