Brief description of the typical work day for an intern at this training site Interns are paired with licensed psychologists and provide co-therapy for several sessions per day. Typical day is somewhat flexible and can be 6 to 8 hours performing administration of psychological tests and scoring them as well as writing and proofing reports. Interns are provided the opportunity to see individual clients for therapy and assessment. Interns will make referrals for medication evaluations and observe that process with clients.

Program Description

CPS has 5 office locations employing 125 therapists and psychiatrists. CPS uses a multimodal approach that integrates psychological, biological, and spiritual. Each intern is encouraged to develop their own evaluation/treatment strengths by rotations on/off site for general, ADHD, family, offender, forensic, etc.
