Brief description of the typical work day for an intern at this training site A typical work day can encompass a variety of clinical duties including working in various programs (Ambulatory Mental Health, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders Clinical Team, Primary Care-Mental Health Integration, Military Sexual Trauma, Interdisciplinary Pain, Palliative Care, etc.) conducting individual/group psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, receiving supervision, providing umbrella supervision/mentorship to junior trainees, attending didactics, working on projects, including quality improvement and research. Work days are typically from 8:00AM-4:30PM.

Interview process description:

Virtual interviews: Applicants are invited for virtual interviews by the Director of Training. There are 2-4 days of interviews lasting from 5-6 hours. Individual applicants meet virtually with 3-4 psychologists in their areas of interest. Requests to virtually meet with specific staff are welcome. Applicants may also virtually meet with current interns/residents. Interviews typically are held during the second week of January.

Optional: In person interviews: Applicants are invited for interviews by the Director of Training. There are 2 days of interviews lasting from 5-6 hours. Individual applicants meet with 3-4 psychologists in their areas of interest. Requests to meet with specific staff are welcome. Applicants also may meet with current interns/residents. Interviews typically are held during the second week of January.
