Program Description

The HSPP at Argosy University Internship Consortium was set up to provide an Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC)-affiliated training program for students from HSPP at Argosy University.  Because this is an HSPP Argosy Affliiated Consortium, applications for Match I will be accepted only from Argosy University Students nationwide with perference given to current HSPP students.  If there are any vacancies for Match II, we will accept applications from students attending any APA Accreditated Clinical Psychology program.  The HSPP at Argosy University Internship Consortium offers a comprehensive pre-doctoral training program in professional psychology and is designed to fulfill the clinical internship requirements for the doctoral degree in clinical psychology.  It is made up of a collection of internship training facilities spread throughout the area working in collaboration with Argosy University, Hawai‘i, as the facilitator for internship training.  Students often decide to participate in the Consortium due to the opportunity the sites provide in furthering specialization in diversity training; as well as the supplemental training, grounded in Developmental Theory, provided on campus.  Due to the Consortium’s consistent ability to provide valuable internship training in the field of Clinical Psychology, Argosy University, Hawai‘i has continued to enthusiastically provide its support towards facilitating the Consortium, and its growth, over the years.

The HSPP at Argosy University Internship Consortium holds membership in the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) and the members are considered sites/rotations within the Consortium, not individual members of APPIC.  It is administratively coordinated by the Internship Consortium Director (ICD)/Training Director.
