(training opportunities continued)
We provide an emphasis in diversity throughout the training year. As a part of our diversity training, we provide individual and group supervision, didactics, and diversity journal discussions to help trainees develop increased competence in blending a diversity focus in their clinical work. The intern cohort also creates and presents a group presentation on diversity/multi-culturalism. Our program also developed the VISN 8 Diveristy, Equity, and Inclusion Training Program, beginning the 2023-2024 training year.
