Program Description

At Children's National, our program trains academic clinical psychologists with specialization in child clinical and/or pediatric psychology. Interns complete required and elective rotations designed for both breadth and depth of training, both within hospital settings and suburban satellite clinics.

Training objectives address: diagnostic skills, psychological intervention, assessment, consultation, interdisciplinary collaboration, legal, ethical and cultural issues, service delivery issues, and integration of science and practice.
